The wife and I decided for the fourth of July we would head out to the finger lakes on the scooters to visit our friends Alica and Todd in the mountains. This led to some really amazing times and I am so glad we decided to ride out there. The first hour in to the trip we got stuck in a really bad rain storm. Doing the wind shield wipers to your glasses is pretty hard to do when getting pelted by rain going 65mph. We were thinking about going back home and grabbing the car but I'm so glad we didn't. After the rain went a way and we reached PA it was smooth sailing from there. There was tons a lightning lighting up the mountain sides. Absolutely remarkable!! The scenery up there in PA and NY is so beautiful and many of the rides were breath taking. It didn't rain again till on the way home so I was really happy for that.
We did a ton of drinking the first night in which I ensued a major hangover the next day. Pay to play I guess but I made the best of it and we rode out to the Grand Canyon of PA. That night we cooked out a ton of amazing food and watched a few movies. The next day it was off to go camp in the bottom of a vineyard, right on Seneca lake. It's a national park and free to camp which was pretty rad. Set up camp and did a few bars on the other side of the lake for a bit. I caught an amazing pic of Kathy looking like a mermaid in the water too, super special moment.
So much went on I could go for days. Basically to sum it up. We drank, partied, brewed moonshine in a home made distill, blew shit up in the lake, swam in waterfalls, camped, ate a ton a good food and most of all rode everywhere!!!
Here is a bunch a pics in no particular order of the adventures we had. ENJOY!
